Water passage gasket

Seems like every post that I make ends up in the wrong section and I'm sure this one will too I don't know how but I'm sure it will. I've searched YouTube I've searched Google I've searched this forum I cannot find any information on replacing it I can't find any information on if it could possibly be the cause of overheating issues and also exhaust gas present in the coolant. I already bought the gasket and let me back step and say I lied there is one YouTube video where a guy changes his but it's very very vague does anyone have any information on this . And like I said I'm sure I posted this in the wrong section cuz it seems like every single post that I've made on this forum I get yelled at about it being in the wrong section and then once it gets moved no one comments so if anyone has any information on the water passage gasket and what a failure of the water passage gasket would cause let me know please thank you

Re: Water passage gasket

mechanical section is correct, the precise sub-forums, we can move. As long as it is not completely wrong place.

Is your coolant reservoir full by chance?

Re: Water passage gasket

Yes it is and yes my coolant is going back into the reservoir it's being pushed back in there evidently I would say I have a blown head gasket except for the car runs amazingly great like it runs better than it probably did the day it came off the showroom floor so the water passage gasket is what I'm thinking it could possibly be I don't know I'm trying to get everyone else's thoughts
