Remote Locks Not Working As Intended
Remote Locks Not Working As Intended
Hey all,
I recently purchased an 02 EX coupe, and I'm having an issue with the remote locks. The car didn't come with a remote, but I knew the car probably had it bc of the trim level. So I bought one off eBay, programmed it to the car, and now it works... almost. Pressing the unlock button will unlock the passenger side door but not driver side's, while the lock button doesn't lock either. The vehicle makes some sort of clicking/lock mechanism noise for each button press, however. Also, the interior lock/unlock doors switch doesn't affect the driver side either.
Anybody know where I should start with troubleshooting/fixing this? Thanks!

Re: Remote Locks Not Working As Intended
they break at the hinges with the constant door open/close over 20+ years. spread legs (woups, doors) wide open, pull off the rubber boot and check wires.
