so i just took the whole damn drivers side door off b/c i can't unlock the door with my keyless entry. well, i checked everything out: actuator is working and all the rods seem to be connected. although the rod that goes from the keylock on the outside of the door to the actuator seems to be loose or something. but from just feeling around and the little i can see, i dont know....im so f***in' frustrated about this whole thing
any suggestion??

how loose are you talkin.. like.. so lose that its not working.. or it just has some play in it...
does the lock still work when you use the key
does the actuator in that door do anything when you push the button (make a noise, wiggle a rod, anything)
are the other doors working
not that i have any real solutions but thats stuff someone who might have a better answer is gunna ask so might as well get it out of the way..

ok, i gotcha. answers to the questions:
not loose enough that it doesnt work; just that it has a little play.
yes, the lock still works when i use the key.
the actuator definitely makes that buzzy noise that ive heard other people talk about, so i figured that meant it works.
and no, the passenger side will not unlock from the outside when i use the button.
some additional stuff:
when i push the driver side down manually, and the passenger side is unlocked, both will lock.
when i use the power lock button on the inside to unlock, the passenger side will unlock; also when i try to lock by using the lock button, only the passenger side will.
so basically, through all that, the drivers side will only lock when i push it down from the inside or use the key on the outside.

so even with the actuator making all that noise and i thought it wouldnt have to be replaced, it will? i guess that would be the easiest thing to do. thanks.
