Key fob

Hello, I have recently installed a stereo into my girlfriends 2004 Honda Civic si and ever since we did that the key fob will not work. We tried resetting it and re programming it and it still isn’t working. Also when the car is not in the on position (where the lights turn on) the door lock button on the inside does not work. Anyone know how to fix?

Re: Key fob

Check fuses 9 (10A) and 16 (20A) in the under-hood fuse box. Number 9 is also battery power for the radio, I suspect you accidentally blew the fuse while installing the new radio.

There is power for radio as it is working fine, I’ll try checking 16 later.

Re: Key fob

The radio would still work without fuse 9 as it has a separate ignition supply. Still check fuse 9.

Okay I’ll check fuse 9, fuse 16 is all good though.
