Check engine light
Check engine light
So I’ve had a check engine light for the last two years, changed one of the o2 sensors under my car to fix the problem, but nothing. I just checked my car “CEN-TECH OBDII” the messages I got were as follows:
“P0134 $011
02 sensor circuits no activity detected ?
Bank 1 sensor 1”
”P0141 $11
02 sensor heater
Circuit bank 1 ?
Sensor 2”
Please help, I definitely do not want to buy a ton of parts and not fix the actual problem. What do you think will work to fix this?

Re: Check engine light
O2 Sensor malfunction codes meaning non-OEM O2 sensor, short or break in the circuit, poor connections at the O2 sensor or PCM or bad PCM. Hopefully something as simple as using cheapo non-Honda O2 sensors or like Colin42 says not properly connected connectors at the sensors.
Advise not waiting so long when the CEL comes on next time. You may have had a reduction in gas mileage over this time of up to 40%. Plus gas prices cost a kidney nowadays.
