Aluminum oil pan 1.7 L

Hey fellow civic owners! Anyone know the part number for oil pan gasket for aluminum oil pan? Also, where to purchase!. will a stock gasket work? this is the pan I have in car now, needs new gasket

Just replaced my aluminum oil pan with a new one off of ebay. I think it cost around $60.00 and was perfect. If you have an aluminum oil pan then you probably have a Civic EX. They don't use a gasket. They use Hondabond HT instead. There are youtube videos on applying Hondabond HT to oil pans.

Hondabond? Hmmm, no gasket on an oil pan?? Guess you get the stuff from Honda dealer? What ever happened to old school cork gaskets?

The steel ones use gaskets, the aluminum ones don’t.

I have been using Permatex Ultra Grey for years, no issues. Can be found at regular parts stores.
