So I have a 2005 honda civic that has a D17A engine inside it. The people we bought it from had JDM swapped the engine and runs well. I was talking to a mechanic that I work with and he said he thought my civic had a misfire. So I ran the codes it came back with misfire codes in cylinder 1 2 and 3 and a P0135 code, which is the bank one sensor one o2 sensor. My question is the O2 sensor causing the misfires and can I use the D17A1 O2 sensor on the D17A engine. Because I know the D17A engine produces more power and torque, I wonder if the O2 sensor is from the original engine and is causing the misfires. I hope that all made sense lol. Trying to figure out this stuff before I drop 200 bucks on a new o2 sensor.

o2 sensor matters to the ECU, not the engine (if they are in the same family of engines)
