Re: limp mode: how can i disable it

Lightweight flywheel shouldn't cause that code. I ran an ACT Streetlite for years more than a decade without that code popping up. Crankshaft sensor is on the opposite side of the engine (timing belt side adjacent to the crank pulley, about the 1-2 o'clock position if you're looking directly at the pulley). You likely have to replace the sensor (use Honda OEM for best results -- we've seen too many instances where people use a generic brand and it just gives them hell)

Is this a 7th gen Civic or something newer? I know lightweight flywheels can cause issues with newer models.

yes.
solve the underlying problem.
limp mode is there to prevent further damage to the engine.

Re: limp mode: how can i disable it

well, that is quite well known...
if you just to a quick search, you would know that Hondas are very finicky with sensors, so we always recommend to use OEM...
