LIMP MODE - 2001 Civic LX

OK, this is a continuing issue... So far, I have replaced the ELD (twice replaced - Code P1298), the Battery, and Tuned-Up. Car ran fine at speeds under 55 mph. This morning, I was accelerating above 60-65 and put it on Cruise Control. This tripped the CEL and the car went into 'Limp Mode'. I pulled over, turned the motor off, rested the Engine for :30 minutes and began the rest of my drive with no further CEL, or 'Limp Mode'. When I got Home, I checked the Codes and it is saying 'No Codes'... I am at a loss. Help, please!

You'll have to pull codes right away, I don't think P1298 would put the car into limp mode. If your scanner can look at previously active faults try that.

Might be worth checking battery/ground cables.
