My 98 civic lx recently went for a dip. Still runs and drives but immediately had CEL on. Showed codes p0700, p1705, and p1753. P1753 is clutch lock solenoid which i tested and inspected and it checks out fine. After clearing the codes and going around the block it started running rough and had those 3 codes and a p1107. I suspected a ecm issue even before the p1107 code. Could the ecu be throwing false transmission codes? Could the ecu be to blame even though it still starts and drives? Or should i be looking somewhere else? Any knowledge would be great.
