Code p1361 tdc sensor 1 noise

I have a 2002 Honda Civic lx

While I was driving down a highway around 50mph or so, my car basically shut down on me
the check engine light came on and the car was not accelerating it slowed to a stop and I had to park it on the side I opened the hood and saw nothing really wrong visually with the car I waited about 10 minutes and the car turned right on
The check engine light was still on so I went to autozone to get it checked and I got a code reading p1361 tdc sensor 1 noise

But I then remembered that I recently change my tdc sensor about 3 months ago

PLEASE HELP!
what could be the issue
I Just got my head gasket and a whole new head installed a week ago don’t know if that would affect the sensor

Did you use an OEM sensor or aftermarket during the last replacement?

For sensors, I'd go Honda OEM. Majestic Honda and Bell Honda are two of my go-to online sites for Genuine Honda OEM parts for relatively cheap.

Hey forgot to mention that the Check engine light went out and the car drives somewhat normal

I’m scared it will come back on again tho

could it be the wiring ??

Possibly? keep an eye on it. Double check your grounds and sensor connections. I know the TDC sensor is kind of a pain to get to

Cheap crappy sensor will probably act up again once it gets hot enough, get an OEM one

I will keep checking on it for some days and if it starts acting up that’s probably what I’ll do thank you

Can also try picking up a used OEM one from a junkyard if you don't want to spring for a new one.
