Evap system
Hi I have a 03 Civic. Been having problems with the EVAP system. I’ve changed the entire system and the check engine light keeps coming on. Anyone have any idea what else it could be the problem?

code p1457 this code always comes up when the check engine light comes on. Yes did smoke test. Check all Hoses and no leaking. Even tightened up everything that’s connected to it. Changed gas cap. You name it. Mechanic can’t seem to figure it out either.

What exactly did you replace? You said the entire system was replaced.
When I had this code it was the canister shut valve. Here's another thread with this fault.
