Driving on 10 car wouldn't get power of 40mph. Even when shift gears to fifth. If press gas car spits like bad gas. But after treatment still making same hesitant sound and neither temp gauge nor coolant gauge working.

Was driving. All of a sudden the car slowed down. Shifted to 2 to pick speed back up but the car started to hesitate. Took four off gas pedal. Then back on wouldn't go over 40mph. It like that for miles. I shifted to 1 speed stayed at 15mph then 2nd gear speed no more than 20 so on so forth. Car never made it over 40mph. And the rpm gauge not temp gauge work anymore.
The hesitation is similar to bad gas or not getting enough gas.

Engine light on? Pull fault codes.
Usually when gauges stop working in the cluster it is because an alternator mounting bolt is loose, possibly frying your ECM.

That's good.
What about a relay?. And what is the clicking sound. Cause while clicking dials work. Once clicking stops car begins to loose power and sputter.
I so lost right now.
Help a lady out.

It’s sounding like your timing belt skipped some notches and threw off your ignition timing, the ruching sound might be a belt valve the misfiring would cause blinking of the engine light because it is misfiring and is growing it on limp mode why it isn’t going over 40mph

It’s an ex so it has Vtec so the valve timing is different after3.5- 4K if that is when your clicking stops that’s probably the problem
