2005 HONDA CIVIC 1.7L Primary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Primary HO2S)

I have a 2005 Honda civic 4 door manual, with an engine light that indicated the Bank1 Primary heated O2 sensor may need replacement).

I am having trouble sourcing the correct part#. I found NGK sells 2 types. NGK 24664 for a D17A2 Engine Desg, and a NGK 24665 for a D17A1 Engine Desg.

How do I determine which is correct and are there cheaper alternatives? These were about $300 CAN after taxes.

Thanks!

You need Denso or ntk, probably Denso. Thats what I used on mine. Look up the part number on Denso's website and then search for it online on either rockauto or Amazon. If on Amazon make sure it's a legit seller or you may end up with a counterfeit part. I paid around $150 cdn for mine on Amazon, took like 5 mins to change it. Buy an o2 sensor socket if you don't have one
