I'm trying to replace the bulb that lights up the sunroof button on my dash...the bulb is honda part 35850-S5N-C11 ...honda says it's discontinued and I've searched everywhere....anyone have a cross reference part number or other ideas where i can find this bulb??
thank you!! I ordered some bulbs off amazon,,..but ordered CEC 7219.....that's what I found in a youtube video....but I'll see what happens when they show up...if they're wrong, I'll re-order the ones you suggested...thank you very much!!
actually went ahead and ordered the ones you recommended also...I can always return the ones that don't work...one is 12V and the other is 14V...I'm not sure what the difference is...the 7219 is 12V and the 8111 is 14V..........

if the head fits either should be fine, but as alternator outputs 13.xV, 14V bulb seems better. Anyway 8111 works for me brightness matches OEM.
later realized I didn't like the LEDs they offered, used their soldering instructions (found here), bought some SMD LEDs and SMD resistors on ebay (before components like this were widely available on amazon), and retrofitted my own LED bulbs. They definitely gave much better light dissipation and brightness than the 3mm LEDs the original kits offered. I think I used 5050 SMD LEDs for mine. That said, if you're handy with a soldering iron and have a bit of patience, then this is a very viable option. I have some pics floating around somewhere, but with Photobucket doing their SaaS thing a while back, a lot of those pics are probably gone.
edit: found one. If you look at the sunroof/cruise buttons, you'll see they're blue and not that dingy OEM white color
again, thanks very much for the intel....I'll wait till both bulbs show up, but based on what you've shared with me it sounds like the right one to use is the 8111 bulb....thanks again!!!
