Small green bulb in fog light / cruise toggle switch

I have been searching all over the internet to find replacements for the very small bulbs which go in things like the toggle switch for a fog light which turns green when the fog lights are turned on. Or the little green light on the cruise control toggle. I have a 02 Civic EX, but I imagin these bulbs are used in older and newer models. Does any one know where I can buy these things? Radio shack doesn't sell em... I'm pretty sure they are honda specific.

a picture is at website:

Sorry, couldn't post the pic on the post, I'm too much of a newb to do so.

i just took mine out cause i don't like green. But you can just get a small bulb and put it on. they install by bending the bulb wires around the old base. very easy.

The way the install is you put them in and turn it about 45 degrees and it locks it in. I've been searching the honda website suggested and I cannot find it anywhere! gearbox, where would I get small bulbs that fit?

pick a different year. The bulbs are listed for other models. Check the part number for the switch and if they they are the same then use the bulbs listed for that model.

thanks! but I wouldnt want you to have to go through all that trouble... can't I just put up some of the bulb minus the base from a radio shack? Are they a certain voltage?

i don't think it matters. i actually had to switch out a few of mine with bigger ones when i redid the dash light color. they're fine for a month now. just get something similar thats just a bulb with wires. use the base you already have.

Re: Small green bulb in fog light / cruise toggle switch

For the cruise switch:

35851-S5A-A01 = Green cover on bulb (cruise on indicator)

35850-S5A-A01 = Blue cover on bulb

My 05 sedan had a blue covered bulb for illumination, I changed it to green to better match the mirror switch illumination.

Amber may be achieved by removing the condom cover from one of these bulbs listed (the cover will most likely rip when removed)
