Passenger headlight only appears under certain circumstances
Passenger headlight only appears under certain circumstances
So, my passenger low beam light will be visibly shining on things that I am close to, but if I were to say get on the road, it looks like only one headlight is on.
This problem seems to be isolated to the low beam, high beams look fine

could be an aiming issue if it seems like you only got one beam showing on the road. Park about 25 feet from a wall and see what the beam pattern looks like. What I suspect is your passenger headlight is pointing hella far upwards

if you just bought the car, how can you say different rates...
the car is past 20 years old.
life expectancy is just estimates. Does every animal dies suddenly at same age?

To be honest, I was mainly just tired and didn't think about the fact that there is no reason that both bulbs would have even had to have been replaced at the same time so it would make perfect sense for them to be on different life cycles, even aside from the fact that things don't die at the same time

Re: Passenger headlight only appears under certain circumstances
quick/free test would be to swap the bulbs. You know one is working proper and the other isn't. If it's a bulb problem, then the problem will follow the swap. If it's electrical, then it'll stay on the same side.
