We're back at it, Boys!!

Walked into a restaurant to pick up my to go order last nighr and 5 minutes later when i walked out and got in my car i had some trouble inserting my key into the ignition. Wasnt alot of resistance but enough to warrant a bit of a wiggle to get it in.

After it was in, it would not turn at all and in my attempts to turn it while moving the steering wheel back and forth, i initiated the steering wheel lock. (HARD LEFT).

Tomorrow i have a new cylinder coming. Im gonna attempt the old DIG OUT THE TRANSPONDER AND PUT IT IN THE NEW KEY TRICK.

If anyone has any knowledge of this issue being common or can offer any advice at all, I'd appreciate it. The more you know.
I'll update on how the key trick goes as well.

Alrighty Heres the scoop, bud.

I removed the ignition assembley and pulled off the ignition switch, the immobilizer, the lock cylinder and the lock cylinder cover.

After a little tinkering i discovered that the lock cylinder itself was binded up.

I bought a $20 lock cylinder on amazon. I had to use the arm from the original cylinder because the new one was to long.

the new cylinder came with two new keys that had no transponder (but a small compartment to insert one).

Dug the the transponder out of the old key and installed it in the new one. BE CAREFUL!! mine was not a chip and instead was a small enclosed glass vile.

Reassembled and everything works incredibly. Will update in 6 months.
