We changed the regulator, and saw the motor was blown, the window went up when we installed it but it won’t go down, we checked the passenger switch and saw that the switch was fine. I am suspecting it’s a shorted wire or something but wanted to see what others think.

wiring around the door hinge.
what do you do to enter the car?
open and close it.
wires will be moved every time.
check that part first. very common issue

update: The window does not react when i use the driver side switch, when i pull the passenger side switch up you can hear the motor engage. I’ve read it’s possible that a faulty driver master switch can cause this but i find it odd that the only problem is going down.
