License plate light only turns on when trunk open My license plate light on my 2004 civic lx do not turn on when I turn my headlights on but they do turn on when I open my trunk
I was alerted to the fact that my lights were not working when I got an oil change at firestone so I replaced them and then I discovered this
Anybody have any ideas? I am fairly new to cars so any input/ ideas are appreciated
Edit: I just noticed they only turn on if i open the trunk AND my headlights are already on

Sounds like the wire is broken and when the trunk is open it pushes the broken bits together
