Can't pull/press front passanger door ****, electric lock works intermittently

About a week or so ago the passanger door stopped reacting to electric lock / unlock via remote, but I could lock it manually via ****. I thought that lock actuator had died again. I had that happen abot 2 years ago and replaced it with a used one off ebay. Ordered a new one and then few days later the door started locking / unlocking via electric lock. And then that same day stopped. Now I could not press the **** at all, also could not lock the door using the key. Seemed like some rod had come loose. Then few days later electric lock started working again, also now was able to lock/unlock using the key. This is really weird.

Any idea what could cause this? Seems like some sort of electrical problem causing the it to work intermittently. But how can it get into the state when I cant lock it manually?

Part of the latch might be seizing, you need to pull the door panel off and start poking around

That's the plan, just wanted hear if there are any tips of what that could be. Even if it is seizing, I would expect the **** to move with sufficient force, but it doesn't. I can press it a little, but it just pops back.

The rods are so flimsy that you can't overcome the latch when it's seized, both latches on my '00 si froze up last week and I had to get the door panels off and lube the hell out of them before anything would start moving
