Re: driver door lock problems

Do you get any buzzing noises from the drivers door or any movement at all from the top lock **** when attempting with the remote ??

What about with the drivers door closed and using the lock/unlock button on the door ??

Re: driver door lock problems

Not being able to push down the lock when drivers door is open is normal Honda operation.

You will need to measure to see if voltage is making it to the actuator or not.

Re: driver door lock problems

Note: on the drivers actuator there are 2 sets of wires present, YEL/GRN & YEL/BLK are the wire colors for the actuator lock/unlock motor. The other set of wires (3) are for the status switch.

The pulse used is very short you may want to set the meter for a lower voltage scale and watch meter closely.

Re: driver door lock problems

yea you can try the wire test but its probably the door lock actuator. mine is broken as well (hence the note at the bottom of my signature picture) and i havent fixed it because it costs way more here in canada at a dealership than it does in the states. at least you live in the states and you can get the whole actuator assembly for a decent price.
