D17a1 2004 Lx. Fans turn on when ever I use the power windows or apply the brake when the key is in the on position. The car also cranks but wont start. What can cause this? Bad relay maybe?

When I see odd electrical issues the first thing I check is grounds. If a ground wire was missed electrical components may end up grounding through another component.

All the grounds are connected from what I can tell. The car ran fine yesterday. I went to start it this morning. It turned over but doesn't start. I checked the fuses, they all look fine. Next i checked the pgm-fi 2 relay behind the glove box. There is a clicking noise when I wiggle it. When it is removed the fans no longer turn on when i press the brakes or mess with the power window. Im having a new relay picked up. Hopefully it fixes my issues.
