How to reset mitigation systems?

The front drivers-side bumper hit a mound of dirt. The owner's manual says do not allow this area to receive pressure (2020 Civic). There is a sensor there. Now my cruise control and mitigation systems will not work. Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

Re: How to reset mitigation systems?

It probably broke. Take it to the dealership since it’ll still be under warranty

Re: How to reset mitigation systems?

It was a light bump. The warranty doesn't cover self-inflicted damage.

Any other advice is appreciated!

Re: How to reset mitigation systems?

pull the bumper out and inspect what is broken
it's faster than asking in the internet.
we can't do that for you, only you can do

Re: How to reset mitigation systems?

might require a trip to the dealer for recalibration. I'm not sure it's DIY-able without proper equipment. I could very well be wrong tho
