2020 starts without key fob

2020 starts without key fob
My wife's 2020 operates like the fob is inside of the car. You can start it without issue, and it doesn't shut the accessory off. You cannot lock the doors with the fob after the engine is shut down either. It will go to the dealer ASAP but I'm curious if this is a rare issue or not.

Maybe there is a fob in the car? Did you just get it? Maybe there is an extra key that fell down next to the seat.

Nope, car was leased brand new, both fobs are accounted for. Factory remote start.

Well, we took it to the dealer and they couldn't figure it out. They flashed the ECU and basically said "Hopefully this fixes it!" :eyeroll:

Just picked it up last night, so I'm not sure. It worked fine this morning when I left for work, so that's a good start, at least.
