Loud brake noise [solved]
Loud brake noise [solved]
Heard loud brake noise usually after 10 miles of driving. Took it to the dealer and had it checked twice but couldn’t find any problems. Dealer had the disks sanded. Also weird/whining noise when in low speed. Anyone knows what the issues are?

Sounds like metal on metal noise. How many mile ago were the brake pads replaced? Could be pads need replacement or lubed at points other than where they contact the rotors.
Might be they brake caliper pins need to be re-lubed or replaced? Some of those pins are designed with a rubber ring that can wear out over time.
Brake noise like that can be intermittent and hard to track down even when they are constant. Sometimes it has to do with brake pad materials and who manufactures them.

Dealer said the same thing saying that the pads were meant to be used on tracks and little dust would also cause this kind of noise. I’m not sure what they say are true or not.

It's likely that they are cheap pads purchased at an auto store or are not the factory brake pad type (ex: ceramic, semi-metallic) and material. Here's https://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuin...2-tba-a00.html what looks to be the oem model number and you can input your VIN to verify. HondaPartsNow is a reputable dealer of Honda Genuine (OEM) parts. I have purchased from them many times and always solid quality and prices.
You may want to continue using the current pads and see if the noise eventually goes away. However, incorrect pads can cause premature rotor wear. You may want to try a brake pads bed-in procedure to hopefully improve the noise. Here's a link to a general bed-in procedure https://www.autozone.com/diy/brakes/bedding-brakes.

Did the dealer mechanic say what type (ex: ceramic, semi-metallic) of brake pads they are? Did they mention slotted or drilled rotors?
