Need new tires - any advice?
Hello all,
My tires are about shot, and I need a new set. Any advice on brands, price, etc.? I live on the east coast US, winters are pretty mild here, but it does snow at least once per year. I want decent grip, but nothing too rough. My dealer quoted me $900 for a set of Firestones, and I laughed at them. I know that's pretty high. Any advice you guys have is appreciated. Thanks.
Edit: I'm currently driving on Firestone Firehawk AS tires, and while I don't drive like a maniac, I do like to be aggressive at times. I would say I'm looking for a tire that balances ride smoothness/noise with traction, as well as treadwear. I do a decent amount of highway driving, too. Should I just get another set of the Firestones? I was looking at reviews for the Falken Sincera SN250 A/S, and it sounded pretty good, but I was concerned with the reviews on its traction in corners at higher speeds. Thoughts?

dealer is not a good place to get tires or other stuff that does not need to be OEM. Alternator, electronic sensors, thermostat and some others is better to be OEM for hondas
