2021 civic cold start issue ?
2021 civic cold start issue ?
2021 civic 2.0 and 44000 miles .First day at 10 deg F after sitting over night, engine turned over and no start. Turned key off back on and started and died, Finally on 3rd or fourth try it will start , I do let it set 5 seconds with key on before trying to start, After started it will idle perfect and run perfect all day. Basically the same every morning when trying to start cold. Sometimes it will sputter a little but usually takes 3 or 4 attempts to get started. So I put a new battery in with no luck so to the dealer it went. Tested fuel pump they said it was ok. they said sparkplugs were dirty and needed injectors , replaced both and did not fix anything.. Now they are saying ecm may be bad, going test in morning, Hmmmmmm. . My thought is what will make a car not start cold but run perfect otherwise? I've never seen this. Any ideas would be apreciated.

Sounds like they don’t know what they are doing and should not make you pay for stuff you don’t need.
Can you get a jump from someone when it is cold or use a jump pack just to see if it helps? I know the battery is new but is the correct cranking amps?
