get an alarm and the "club"... it won't guarantee that they can't steal your car but it's enough of a deterrent for those *****'s for sure.

How much your looking to invest to detere theft? Compustar and Clifford alarm are one of the better pager alarms available on the market. I highly suggest you to avoid any Audiovox line of alarm systems this include, Prestige, Pursuit, and ...., based on personal experience and from 'professionals' opinions. I wouldn't put on the club, unless you value the 20 seconds that the club is capable to delay the theifs. What I would do is get the Compustar or Clifford, and put up a backup battery and maybe a backup backup if your really paranoid, than hook up some sirens or air deafners inside the vehicle, probably under the steering column, and at the back. This will cause extreme noise and since when do theifs carries ear protection . Also wire up a fuel pump switch. These methods will not guarantee that your car will be safe, but with sirens placed strategically inside the vehicle, it will make many think again.

dude that's a good idea to have a siren in the car... I'm gonna get that. As for the club, it at least makes your car at bit more of a hassle for those spontaneous burglars. If they really want your car, they'll take it no matter what you have in there.

I do on compustar, ditching the audiovox pursuit crap. When will Compustar ship two remotes (1 pager, and 1 basic?), price, AT, immobilizer, need to remove alarm.

Is there an alarm system that will "WARN" whoever comes within a certain distance from your car? For example, if someone comes within one metre of your car, alarm will warn them with a low beep, and then if they touch the car, it goes off full force? is there such a thing? with a "motion " sensor or something? if so, that would rule!

Yes there is, dual proximate sensor.
