If you're concerned about the lights dimming when you're not revving, that's your charging system (ie alt/pulley). I'm still investigating a new alt, cause ours give so little current. I want a 150A one! Dammit!

Honda batteries are very very good compared to what alot of other cars get.

The only thing that causes a battery to go prematurely is a short or stupidity.

If your cranking your system when the cars idling you can start draining down the battery. If a regular battery gets drained to half Capacity or lower, it'll never hold the same amount of charge again. and it''s life expectancy will go to s**t.

Deep cycle batteries are made so that they can be heavily discharged and recharge over and over without problems.

If you had a short and no blown fuses and your car never caught fire..that's a miracle ...

You prbably overworked the battery and discharged it too much and it couldn't recover...=stupidity... I'm not insulting you but whenever I do things like that..which I've done I always want to slap myself for being a dummy.

LoL why don't you ask Honda do they void warrenties for people using interior decoorating lighting accessories? I'd have to agree with mohawk, Honda (Panasonic) makes very very good batteries!
