im just wondering, any of the people here have exhaust system modification?? i was just browsing the ebay listings on the left and found mufflers that are going for only $40 US.. i don't know much about exhaust system so i want to know if i can fit them to our stock exhaust system or i must get a complete system??

Anyway if you just get a muffler it will most likely have to be welded on professionally (as it it not likely made specifically for our cars). Also, if you get a muffler from the internet you also won't really know what it will sound like. Could be good, could be bad.
From my limited knowledge I dont believe you'll see any performance gains unless you get a full cat back system. And even that is slim.

Rep Power: 0 nico, sound good. the only sytems that make a car good will run you a good $750 installed. all the mufler does is make you sound like a lawn mower.

Yesterday on hartzel rd there was a 2001 cioupe Lx with my hubcaps..maybe itwas a dx or whatever....the point is he had my same hubcaps.....he was 4x4ing(not lowered) on PAINTED white Hubcaps........WTF!!! IM mad....mad cuz he painted them white but not jealous cuz that shiat looks tacky and my car looks good!!

That guy who used to drive the 4 dr civc with the fiberglass grey looking wing on the back.....Rick u gots competition....he has altezzas now on it a body kit and he painted the wing black...he drove by so fast but i really couldnt tell if he was lowered or not......I dont think he was though

Rep Power: 0 no its not lowered, i saw him yesterday, the car looks good untill you peer into the inside then it becomes all ricey with bad ornaments and crappy $20 seat covers. he also has 17" gunmetal rims. the car looks good but definately needs to be lowered.
one of these days i'll get rims, to many trips to the rub & tug, that place is so addicting....lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rep Power: 0 sweet finaly you got it figured out. i have no idea what kinda kit was on the sedan, it may have been a xenon or wings west, didn't realy pay attention to it.
sighting in port today, black coupe with motegi mr7's(gunmetal) at timmy's in port dalhousie. thats all
was at east hammilton radio today, they had a sound comp goin on, saw a 7th gen'r from tcc and a sweet accord from kaption audio.
kerri i went by your house today(sat) at like 2:45pm, your car was there, i didn't want to stop though. when you want me to clear your headlights?

Im still a little worried to do the lights. But I suppose one of these weekends would suffice.
Do you have a gup under your lights now where your bumper is supposed to be? Cause ive heard that can happen if you dont get the bumper on exactly right. I checked mine today is it is prefectly fluch.
Kerri, im glad that you got your problem figured out. It should be pretty easy for them to fix. Just re-install I would imagine right?
I cant beleive another civic with MR7. I am so glad I didnt get those now. I was so close to choosing them.
