The cheapest place I found for my '03 civic si was through Younge's Ins. in Niagara Falls. I'm 21, have full coverage, 300 deductable and pay $258 a month. But, I'm covered in the Trenton area. So, since you living in the Niagara Region it might be a bit more because of the more cars on the road. If you want the number let me know or look it up. Ask for Bill Thompson.

I love Finger Eleven. I've seen them live at front 54 a while ago. Then I went out and bought both their albums cause they were so good. Do you know them? I remember when they were the rainbow butt monkeys and won the 97.7 rock search. Never heard of sector 7 though. I've also seen eve 6, gob and treble charger at front. Have you ever heard of kazzer? They have a hit on the radio 'pedal to the metal' a friend of mine from st.kitts is a guitarist for them. good band imo.

hey profurious,
I've got an RS grill on the way, and I hear I have to take off the bumper to change the grill. Because I need to do that I might aswell clear the lights at the same time. Any suggestions or warnings? How long did it take you to change the grill and clear the lights? thx

jongreen-plan on having you car off the rd. for 24hrs. you should let the silcone set for 24 hours. by the silcone at canadian tire, they have one that you dont need a gun for, make sure its clear. when you pry open your headlights put em in the oven first. if you drive a coupe cook em at 200 degrees for 2-4 mins, if you have a sedan cook em for 8-10 mins at the same temp. taking the bumper off is a sinch, check out the diy on it, make sure you have a friend to hold it.

oldskool-get a job you bum, go back to subway. j/k. i was gonna swing buy and say hi yesterday but ran outta time.

i'm gonna try to make a ram air for my cai, think i'll have it done by the meet, plus custom door sills, painted engine parts and maybe custom guages.

do you mean before prying open your headlights put em in the oven? Cause i'm doing mine next week. I heard you have condensation in your one headlight. is that because it didnt seal up properly or u didnt wait long enough for it to set? thanks.

Holy smoke!! Slow down there. You're gunna make the rest of us look stock j/k . That all sounds like pretty neat stuff esp the Ram air.

So i saw a sedan on the highway like yours Rick. But it looked like it had a lower grill (like the mesh kind). I thought it was your car. Was it? It was last Sunday around 1100 in the morning near Beamsville going towads Hamilton. The whole thing was kinda a blur but i thought it was you.

BTW i got new front struts today. OEM, nothing special. Just thought I'd mention it.

Peace

i put my oe lights back on, and yes they are cleared to, car looks so much better now. i'll be on this afternoon, later.

Well It had to be your car. Like I said I didnt get clear look at it. Must of just looked like a grill.

Anyway I already got the new struts yesterday. They were covered under warranty. To be honest I can't really tell the difference. But they told me last time I was there that one was leaking and to give them a call when I had a chance to get it replaced. So they did it yesterday and replaced both front ones.

Happy pre - birthday. Must be nice to be turning 18 hahaha J/k. I've turned 18 4 times now.
Is you B day entered on this site?

Peace

if you guys want them done i charge $50, plus you gotta buy the silicone, its like $7, and you keep it. you'll have to leave the car for about 2 hours, you can kick around and play sony if you want or get some one to pick you up and drop you off. or you can get gusto to do it. i can also put my back up set on for the day for y, that way you only need to drop your car off for an hour and come back later that day or the next day, whenever you want. Dan, if you are gonna do em yourself make sure you take your time, clean as much of the exist sealant off as you can, and after you seal them make sure you clamp them together.

like i said $50 and i'll do them. i had my second set on thursday, got home at 4:30, and had my oem set back on before 5:15 when the wife got home, and i did it all myself.

i'm seeing more andmore cars these days. i got a qute from aut wharehouse on my rims, they want $2400 for the set i want, i laughed in the guys face and told him i could get them delivered to my door from another place for $1700, he said thats good than why dont you get them from there, cocky a_sholes.

one more time i will clear your lights for $50

Yeah I guess it was fate that I pressed "print screen" that day. There was no telling at that point the site was gunna go down.

Quesion: I have never lifted my car up b4. So (and this is such a general quesion that I'm embarassed to ask) how do I go about doing it. I am pretty sure there is a jack in the strunk with a spare tire. Do i then need jack stands if I want to keep it up for a while? And I am assuming I can only do one side at a time too right?

Man I feel dumb. I'll check the manual too. Maybe it's all in there.

peace

Make sure you position your jack under the frame of the car so you dont go through the floor. A jack/axle stand is for safety. (if you want to work under your car) It serves as a backup in case the hydraulics fail on your jack. If you need to jack up a whole end of the car, you can use your jack and then lower it onto an axle stand. Then remove your jack to raise the other side. Its pretty straight forward. good luck.

dont ever work on you car with the oem jack as your only support. if you want to work on your car and keep it off the ground go and buy a set of jack stands for like $30. actually automontive wharehouse has a deal on right now, you get a 2 ton hydraulic jack (it'll get your car off the ground in about 5 sec's), 2 jack stands, and a mechanics slide (you know the things they wheel around on under your car) for like $90. that is a real good deal. if i didn't have to save for rims i would bu it right now.

who wants there lights cleared? let me know

profurious: hey d00d, I want to tint my headlights (they're already cleared).

can you offer up some suggestions as to how to get them apart again easily?

the first time I did it, I just pulled like a mother and got them apart, but man, what a biotch!

any help would be great!

ya bake'em. put em in the oven at 200 degrees for like 5 min. if they dont pry apart than put em back in for another 2 mins, keep doin that untill they come apart. you know what would be cool. tinting the chrome inserts, i'm gonna try that on a set one day.
