OT: Daytek LCD *SPECIAL* This Week ONLY!!
Ok, I've quoted some of you Daytek 15" LCD for $440 last week.
THIS WEEK ONLY:
Daytek 15" LCD $395 for orders of 5, otherwise $405 each. Plus taxes.
Kinda like a GB, send me PM or Email aaron@aysis.com...
Daytek 17" LCD $610 for orders of 5, otherwise $620 each, same idea.
If you just want monitors:
17" monitor $180
17" "flat screen" monitor $195
19" monitor $260

I myself always prefer NEC, but they're bit more expensive.

Daytek is actually "Daeoo".. yes, the same company that makes Laganzas and those other italian-looking Korean cars. The company itself is quite big, and they do have a lot experience in the monitor field.
They're relatively new in the North American market (less than 10 years), but they have yet to reach Samsung's status or market share. But I think they are starting to push harder (with new 43" plasma TV displays) so I think they are pretty reliable.

Thanks for clearing that up!
I think Daytek is a relatively good company. I've seen a lot of 15" Daytek's sitting around still at clients, and they've ran 5-6 years straight, np. Good thing with Korean companies like Daytek and KDS is that they will do whatever they can do to establish a market, i.e., KDS has straight exchange program on the first year (instead of the repair at depot bs that other brands typically use).
Costco sells the 15" LCD at $449.

Yes, Daytek are fine monitors. I forgot the mention that they have decades and decades of history back in Korea. They've been competiting with Samsung for the longest time in a very competitive asian market, so they gotta be decent at the very least.

Daewoo makes awesome electronics..
their cars are so so, but as far as electronics are concerned, they are up there along with Samsung and Hyundai [in korea].
my uncle has 30 something widescreen daewoo TV [ones you can't get here].. it displays like 99 channels at the same time... comes with wireless headsets for two... it had everything... and this was like 4 yrs ago.
Daewoo doesnt bring their 'high-end' stuff here, what a shame.
