Rep Power: 0 Yo whats up!!!
Yea i got those grills when they first came out, so they might be overpriced. The upper was like 220.00 and the bottom was 235.00 w/ taxes @ California Cosmetic's. They seem to be reasonable and nice guys down there so I have been trying to help support them... But I don't have to much chump change laying around hehe.....Hopefully this summer will be different!!!!
So where does everyone get there stuff in town..........

Rep Power: 0 i just got a whole bunch of stuff from Unauthorized Performance on dundas
great prices.. usually next day delivery (i got all my stuff next day)
they dont do installs.. and i wouldn't recommend tony (the guy they'll try to set you up with for body stuff)
i cant comment on his work since i never saw it:
he told me to show up twice.. and both times he wasnt there.. so i ended up doing everything myself (partly because he had me driving around to meet him and never showed.. and partly because his prices kept going up everytime we talked)
(wherever you go.. dont go to autosport.. carlos had dollar signs in his eyes )

Thanks for the info!!! I was planning on making both grills in September but couldn't what I wanted in aluminum...at a reasonable price. If I recall, it would have cost me about the same. But seeing how those were the prices when they first came out, I might have to pick one up from Unauthorized in the spring.

I wouldn't mind getting maybe an exhaust headers, chip if i can afford it. I must take or bet two 3.1 cav 92's down the track this summer since both of them keep bashing my car and they only have chips and intakes.

Where did you end up finding the aluminum mess for $35??? Thats a pretty good deal.
I checked out Home Depot - nothing, and the Metal Superstore on Oxford & Industrial - way too much $$$.
However, $130 from Mike sounds pretty good to me. Was it a real GrillCraft or just an imitation?

about the $130 for the grill:
-he was just taking a stab at the price (he didnt actually look up what it would cost)
-and it was probably an imitation... since grillcraft grills go for about $150US
I got the mesh from mike... the way i did things it was really simple to put on, but isnt half as visible as a grill would be...

Rep Power: 0 The RSX sway bar is cheap to begin with! At the acura dealership in town, it's only like $130. I looked into it myself. I may replace my sway bar with it. 14mm to 19mm.

Rep Power: 0 True, but then whats the point of a group buy? $130 is pretty cheap, but if we can save another $10 - $15, I think you would agree this is the way to go too.
Btw, if you do decide to get the sway bar do you think the Acura dealership would give a discount price if we have say 5 confirmed orders? It would be easy $$$ in their pockets.

If you need some help with the install, just shoot me an email sometime and we'll hook up and I'll give you a hand.
But if you really don't want to do it yourself, I also recommend Audio Majic and Powerstation (some of those guys at The Powerstation are d**ks though). Other places to keep in mind are Audio Centre (on Southdale beside Factory Shoe) and Future Shop.
BTW... what kind of audio equipment are you looking into buying? Sub, Amp, Deck...?

i'll probably just end up doing the install myself... i went to the powerstation for my amp and sub (they did a great job with everything, cept that when they took the panel off of the driverside door frame (ugh.. bad explaination.. u know the panel that has the trunk / gas door release and lock on it) well.. they put the locking mechanism back in backwards... lol, so i couldnt lock my trunk)
and ill take you up on that offer.. since i have no idea how to get the console apart (suppose i should take a look through the DIY's before i say that)
anyway im looking at getting a deck, but not till the spring
i was thinking one of these:
JVC KD-SH909
Kenwood KDC-X859
Alpine CDA-7893

As for the decks, don't foget about Pioneer. The DEH-P8400MP is a sweet deck but a little more money then the one's you listed above. You could still probably swing a good deal on one. Click Here
Personally, of the decks you listed, I like the JVC KD-SH909. I actually installed this in my buddy's car and it's real sharp. I like the fact that the faceplate is motorized and it has the tilt feature (although you probably won't be able to use the tilt in our car because the deck sits pretty high as is) and it's also MP3 compatable.
