But even at $250 per tire doesn't sound like below wholesale or even near wholesale prices. Thats only $35 less than retail.
I was hoping around $150 per tire, because the markup is huge on tires. At least 40%!

Rep Power: 0 1010 tires is cheap, but my cousin bought rims and tires from them and he's had nothing but problems with his tires. 2 tires came with holes in the sidewalls and one tire has worn twice as bad as all the rest. It's a pain in the *** when you have warranty issues with tires and you have to keep sending the tires back to the states and paying shipping. How much does 1010 tires charge for shipping? In London you can't beat $135 for 17s and $250 for 18s. Unless if you want Pirelli p7000s in 18. I can get those for $200 per tire but they suck.

Let me get back to you in the spring time. I need to figure out what I'm doing.
I'll run with my stocks until then, even though they're ****.
Btw, we all want pics when they're on...

Even a markup of 30%, which is very low, you should have gotten the tire for ~$200.
But on the other hand, $250 is a lot less than $285.
I just think they should have given you a much better deal...

Rep Power: 0 Did you get them from "Dynamic Tire Corp" on Highbury?
I created a thread on the L.A.C. board looking for winter tires and a guy "mgstylez" replied back saying he could get tires at wholesale.
Do you know this guy? Did you buy from him?
He never responded back to me, so I never bought the tires.

Rep Power: 0 I'm an "unpaid" member over there.
I was thinking about showing up before the winter, but never got around to it. This spring for sure!
I posted a thread over there asking where I can get winter tires. Search for "xian".
"mgstylez"'s family owns that business. He said it could get tires at wholesale for anyone, but never replied. He's a LAC member, search for him or ask around.
I figured you went through him - LAC connection, but when you said the price I knew it was rather high and you didn't go though him.
I'm still running stock tires. I go through these and buy summer tires maybe. I don't think we're going to have a long or big winter.
But I'll show up one day at a meet to show up my Revo short shifter.

Rep Power: 347 PIAA's are damn expensive. You're probably looking at over 100bux for a pair of PIAA H1's X-treme Whites. I say get a cheaper brand of bulbs (Eurolite) and if you can find one with a blue hugh, go with those.
Where did you get your projectors from and how much did they cost you if you don't mind me asking.
BTW, just as an example, the PIAA H1's X-treme Whites are almost 100bux U.S. Link

Rep Power: 0 I got the TYC chrome projectors from Mike at Unauthorized Performance. I haven't paid for them yet because they aren't in yet, but Mike said around $380. Everyone tells me that these ones are better built than all the other brands because TYC makes OEM lights for cars.

Rep Power: 0 yeah, the TYC's have a good reputation for not fogging, etc.
as far as the bulbs go... if you have some extra money to burn, then buy PIAA
i have the eurolight xenon blue (i think its called).... anyway, the bulbs look blue, but the light projected onto the ground is bright white... they've worked fine for me so far
but the last thing you want is to put in an PIAA, acidentally touch the bulb, then have it burn out on you ($50 is a little much to pay for a bulb if u ask me)

Rep Power: 347 When you buy projectors, do they come with a new wiring harness that allows you to change the bulb styles? How does this work? Is it a simple plug and play thing or do you have to splice the wires?

Rep Power: 0 for mine, it was simple plug and play kinda thing
the only problem being that i got the projectors for a sedan (and i have a coupe) and so one of the the bulb clips (or whatever they're called) was too big on the projector
so i had to silicone it in
but it should be an easy install... the only thing thats a major pain in the *** is one of the bolts you have to get to to remove the old lights is kinda tucked away in a far off spot
if you need a hand, just ask me and i can show ya what to do

Rep Power: 326 APRboy, just get the superwhite Xenon Fusion bulbs, you'll notice a difference from that of the bulbs that come with it. As for the wiring yours will be just a plug-in.......at least you don't have a halo to wire into it. I've heard that the PIAA's are too strong for projectors in that they always blow because of the heat they create. Nice rims dude, lemme know ehn you're punning them on....I wanna be there
