headers, intake, cat-back, exhaust combo?
what is the best combination (for performance, not just for noise) of headers, intake, cat-back, and exhaust mods? Or will any popular brands do? (AEM, Greddy, HKS, etc...) I am looking for a little more "boost" than what the stock engine provides... any suggestions/recommendations?
i heard the HP racing header is good...ask 1028 and andoy cuz they are also in the market for header
as for cai: i like Ingen but they are almost the same thing so get aem or ingen...doesnt matter
exhaust: i like HKS Hiper and GReedy Evolution. ask 1028 about HKS Hiper cuz i think he has that too

in terms of headers...nothing really out there for our cars. its gonna be a while before we start seeing some good headers, my suggestion is to wait. this is just my opinion....
really?????? headrs doesnt give u any boost in powerr??????? dyum....... sucks sucks... i guess ill wait like the rest...
its the ECU. there are so many damn sensors in the car that mods don't do as much as they could do....
if you were to chip the car after I/H/E then there would be some gains....
There was an article in honda tuning a while back 2001 civic SI...they added DC headers, DC intake, and DC exhaust...the civic only gained 5WHP...thats an expensive 5WHP

it dont mean anything
1) the TCS is a twin loop. there fore not enough back pressure cuz its gotta make its way around the bloody muffler. (restricted)
2)the DC header its just the top piece and the bottom piece is still stock (our stock EX/Si header is welded to the cat)
3)they used a short ram intake
soo....its all in ur head. ur driving a civic...what u expect? its good to have some pull...
<--this Si..wont be racing anytime soon.
i seriously doubt u can take a stick Si with a good driver that has I/E/H!..but hey u never know till u try!

some headers can produce more torque....but nothing yet for our cars. all i have been hearing is people lossing torque. but to get response from your engine, boo is right...ecu's and other mods can be done to get more boost. you just have to do your homework.
