SRT4 discontinued?
SRT4 discontinued?
I know this is a little off topic as this is a Civic forum but the SRT4 is pretty much a Turboed Neon and Neons are supposed to be in the same class as a Civic. Anyways, I was thinking of buying one and I went to the dodge site and I couldn't find the SRT4 or it's lower end models. I ran a search on Google and found out that it's been discontinued? WTF? That car was out for not even two years and it's already gone? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Why did they get rid of it so fast? I guess I'll have to look into the RSX TypeS or the new SI. Both have significantly low HP compared to the SRT4 (255 HP).

If I were rich I'd buy a 2006 M3. That would smoke an STI any day of the week.

The Neon/SRT4 replacement is now the Caliber. So yes... the SRT4 is discontinued.
BTW... if you're looking into getting an RSX-S... a WRX is probably in your price range.

LOL!
Well I guess it would have been a bad idea to buy one. It is American made, so it can't be as reliable as Japan/German imports.Wow, the regular WRX is only $34,900 (CDN) and it's 240HP, not bad. That's in my price range. I thought all WRX's were $48,000 (CDN) but it's only that price for the STI.
BTW: The Calibur looks UGLY as hell. It's not a car, it looks like a small SUV.
This Dodge Charger SRT8 looks pretty good. Stock 20" rims with 425HP but it's $45,000.

lol! american cars are worthless. and don't even get me started on the vipers and vettes. all that brawn but no control not to mention unreliable = worthless.
and ask yourself why would you want to buy a 425hp charger that give you about 15 mpg and handles like a a$$. plus it looks like sh*t.
