Question What H1 bulbs are best?

I tried doing a search but I really wanted to know what people in the GTA were using for H1 bulbs in there projectors. One of mine is blown and I need to replace them. What is the best to get? I want something that gives off a lot of light and will actually last more than 3 months.....any suggestions, and where did you get them from?

Thanks

If you buy the Silverstars from Canadian Tire you'll get a 1year of-the-counter warranty with them. So if does burn you...you get a brand new one!!! =) Thats why I got mine from there.

I'm using some crazy yellow bulbs right now (Xenon something-or-other); they can be found at Proparts or at Pacific Mall. They've got a sexy purple halo to them which is subtle, yet illegal, LOL.
As well, I used to use the Showoff Kryptons before - those were pimpariffic, nice and white with just a tiny touch of blue on the edges, and one set lasted me over a year. When I changed to the yellows the Showoffs were still in perfect condition.

I had H4 of both, but I have seen the H1 versions of each in action.

Honestly...no H1 bulbs are good unless you get real HIDs.
The H1 bulbs are the most poorly designed bulbs.

Yeah I agree, they suck pretty bad. Thats usually why I always switch back to OEM Headlights with Silverstar H4's for the late fall and winter cause its always dark outside. At least in the spring & summer there is more daylight and I hardly drive really late anyway. I didnt know that Canadian Tire had Silverstars in an H1. I will have to check that out. HID's would be sweet but too much $$$

FAWK! I just went to Canadian Tire to pick up the Silverstar H1 and there wasnt any. I even called the store earlier so that I would know if I should even bother going over on my lunch and the stupid bitch told me that they had them in stock. I wish she wasnt on her break when I got there cause I wanted to rip into her. ARGGG! What a waste of time. I ended up getting some shitty Motomaster H1 bulb just so that Im not driving around blind tonight. I installed it and still no difference. I think that the wiring is screwed or something? Ive tried a couple of my older working bulbs those dont work either. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Its weird the lights work fine for the first 2 settings on the dial but as soon as I go to turn on the projector bulb (3rd setting its like its barely on and the halo goes out??? Fawk Im pissed!

The Silverstars are much brighter than stock, I love them. Although they don't have the "cool blue" look to them which is okay because now I don't yell out "hey copper, pull me over"...just my 2cents.
