Neon Kit in Winter

For those who have neon under kits, do you uninstall them in the winter or leave them on? Is there a risk that they will break from winter driving (i.e. going over snow?), or cracking due to the cold?

I'm keeping mine on. That was a huge pain to install and I'm not doing that again. Cold so far has not been a problem. Just don't go over snow that will hit the neons.
