I was just wondering if anyone has some knowledge about this alarm.

I bought one from a member off this site a while back and I dont have an extra remote for it.

Unfortunately I dropped my keys and the remote hit the ground kinda hard and it slightly cracked the glass screen...now I have the black stuff slowly leaking into the screen display.

Does anyone know if I can just get a new remote for it?

If so do they just re-program the alarm to match it? What company could do this?

you should be able to get a replacement remote for it at any authorized dealer.
i know Art of Noise is an authorized dealer for the Vadars.
where did you get it installed? they might be abel to hook you up.
i've heard that the Vadar has quite a good warranty and depending on how bad the damage is, they might even replace the remote for free. good luck.

damn i lost mine somewhere in my house and i can't remember how to make the pager beep so i can find it so i gotta buy a new remote too .....anwhere that sells the alarm will be able to get it......cost 150$ for the damn thing tho sure doesn't look like it's worth that but gotta get it

doesn't the vadar have a paging feature from the car?

yah i think it does but i can't remember the code to do it when you set it to valet mode it pages you but i lost the book and can't rememebr how to do it.

I never even got the book either when I bought mine used.
