Oh shut up--I don't even wanna hear it from you! You didn't even come to the last one. (alright, so I am kidding...I'm still mad at you!)
It's not gonna be for a little bit? Is that what we decided on? And it's for sure gonna be in PA right?

nah dude that is too early, and besides lots of people are heading to nopi in september so i don't think they will be up for another meet. I would say late next may would be the best choice.

Yea, I read it and I think the first place would be better. Sounds like it might be easier to get to or something. Good job on finding out all that information by the way!

I like the first place also as I am going on your word that it is easier! I keep increasing the people on my list everyday and have a ton!! Have we set an exact day or just a month?
EternalVtec do you have to put $$ to hold the park for a certain day??

cool, cool, cool, and cool. sounds like all we have to do is wait. this is how im gonna do it:
1. i want everyone on the "committee"(u know who u are), or anyone else, let me know asap about any other going on it ne month of may, that way we can plan around that so we get the best possible turnout.
2. once i find out the best weekend, or the first week of the year(whichever comes first), ill set the date and reserve the pavilion.
3. mex, keep yourself active in here so u know the latest so you can start the site asap
4. rob, i assume that since youre keeping track of the emails that youre going to keep everyone on the up and up when it comes nearer?
5.when it comes time for it, vizyun, would u and klassy wanna do the food thing again?
As for the local duties, myself, jadastyles, and 2Hottie will be taking care of that.
and who did the signs for it, whoever it was contact me, we can start throwing ideas around for the one for this one
thats it for now

SCHWEEET!! Glad we have some heads over there plannin something good!!! YEah I will be emailing people as the meet gets closer. I mean we could email everyone and ask them their opinions about where to have the meet, but then we would never get anywhere! I know carlisle is in May but I am not sure when, so maybe someone could figure that out. I will also get in contact with Vizyun when he needs to send out food emails. Mex and I communicate through IM, which would be easiest for me next to email, so any of you on the "committee" if you have IM can I have it?? I will handle the list of who is coming and who isn't and will tell Mex to add and take people off as needed. I just went through the member's rides and found all the emails in the mid atlantic region. Whether these people come or not is up to them, but we should have a bigger turnout this next year!!! You guys up in the area just gotta organize the pavillion, grills, road signs, and probably meat (since it is hard to travel with meat!) hehe. cool cool

Well this last one I brought a volleyball and a frisbee but no one took advantage of them Maybe we can bring the slip-n-slide (or crocodile mile) or play pin the tail on the donkey or tag!! Maybe this year we can have prizes and stuff and we can all judge each other's cars? Anyone want to start on that project? That will keep people busy judging cars on best of show, best body kit, best audio, etc etc etc! Haha can u tell I am bored!!

I was thinkin if anyone wanted to play soccer, football or basketball. We can also bring squirtguns and play capture the flag. We also can chip in and give prizes like robb said maybe free carwash somewhere or some detailing supplies. or gas coupon. lots of possiblitites.

hello hello hello all!
ok, a few things:
to start, my aol sn is saac83 , im usually on between midnight and 2 am. as for carlisle, ill check out their website, i doubt ill find the date for next years show before the new year, but ill check it out. as for activites, id be up for most things, i know theres a baseball field in the park as well as a pool, but im not sure if it will be open, let alone warm enough(water temp). at the last one, how much meat was eaten?(rough count maybe, and the number of people, maybe we can get a ratio and get a better idea how much well need). robb, maybe you can send out a mass email to everyone you have on your list to get awareness up, maybe tell them about the thread, the rough ideas for it, and encourage them to reply or give some kind of input, and be sure to send one to me and anyone else on the committee. at this meet im going to start something that we do at one of my family reunions. im going to take collection. the money will go toward the awards(more on them later), supplies, etc. ok, for the awards, here is my idea:
from top to bottom
Best of show-$15 to blockbuster
Best ICE-$5 to blockbuster
Best BodyKit-$5 to blockbuster
Best Motor-$5 to blockbuster
Most origional-$5 to blockbuster
waht do you guys think? ill definitly have more ideas comin.

All sounds good to me. I can't wait for another meet. I had a really good time at the last one!
Isaac--the blockbuster thing is a good idea. I'm thinking of some things too. I'll post when I have more time!

you all have mail!!!
Well guys I have some news to take into consideration if possible. Deejai35 won't be back from school until mid june. also I am getting married on May 12th and my fiance will be graduating on May 17th plus carlisle is sometime that month. That means it will be a busy month for a few of us. I don't know if you want to push it to June (which would be greatly appreciated), but again this is a mass decision here. If you guys don't want to that is fine and I will pass my dutied to someone else. Thanks and I hope you all understand.

Pushing it back to June would be fine with me. The more we can have make it, the better.
Klassy and I will be happy to help coordinate the food again. As far as meats, we actually ran out at the last meet (we wouldn't have, but some people didn't show, and thus we didn't have their items). Klassy and I made a run to the store and picked up another box of burgers and 2 more packs of hot dogs. I was thinking this time it would be nice to have a little more variety. We considered picking up some fried chicken from Popeyes/KFC/Bojangles/SOMEWHERE . . . it just never happened. I think that would be a good idea to implement at this meet. As far as how much meat we need, I'd say bank on 4-5 boxes of pre-made burgers, 8-10 packs of hot-dogs, 3-4 buckets of chicken . . . I think that should hold us. If we need more, we can always make a run. We'll also need plenty of side items. We did a GREAT job at the last meet bringing chips, slaw, macaroni salad, etc. to the meet. And we had LOTS of drinks to go around, so I think having everyone bring a 2 liter was a good idea. We may need to bring more buns/rolls this time however. That's about all that I can think of off the top of my head, but it's a start. Once we have a better idea of how many will be coming, we'll be able to better gauge how much we'll need.
On a side note, I think we should add a "most improvements" award. You know, most mods added since the last meet? Cuz, like I told everyone there, I'm gonna win that one.
