keep in mind, this event to be held in October is not the actual car meet...it is a meeting of the ppl putting the meet together for the primary purpose of looking at the proposed meet location as well as to make further plans, etc.

the actual car meet this thread is about is to happen in June or so next year.

ok well im going to make this suggestion I have already made it before. but i guess no one cares about what i say. OK since there there are alot of people not going to be making it on different weekends I suggest this. That we set up meets for everyweekend like there will be a show in richmond Va. the 19th and 20th. I know simply cant make that show and a few others. so the peopel that can make it go to that show. and i head that goldnugget said that there is going to be a show in englishtown the 5ht and 6th i think the dates are. well the people that can make that show go to that show. and have like mini meets for everyone. Becaue i know i cant make it to english town but im going to be at richmond (dinnewidde) show on the 19th and 20th so that is what i think. Whoever can make it to either of those shows. go and those will be like our meets. I hope yall understand what im saying here. and to all u committe memebers please reply so everyone has some idea if tis is what we are going to do or if this was jsut a waste of my time writing this.

Awww. Curt. We do hear what you are saying and are suggesting. Please don't think that we are allmighty goddesses (and in some cases, ok..maybe most, gods!) That sounds like a great idea though. I think we should really think about that for getting together to plan the rest of the meet. What does everyone think about that?

My suggestion for the real mid-atlantic meet would be to do it around the same time as last years. Say-- July 20(?), 2003? I don't know...just seems like everyone will be home from school and stuff. (Curt, are you gonna be back from Florida yet?) ...it's just an idea. I know we were trying for an earlier date because of heat and things like that....but we don't wanna leave people out (even though we know not everyone will be able to make it on the day we decide anyway.) But, we have to try. I'm rambling here. That's enough from me for tonight!

hey steph well just had a thought. since yall have committe members I think that we have two mini meets liek ai suggested and atleaset one of the committe members makes one each meet. so yall decide out of what committe memebers can make it to what show. steph i know u cant make it to the dinnwidde (VA.) show so i suggest taht another memeber make this show and then either u or another committe memebr make the show up in englishtown (NJ.) show. and if any other memeber can make either show then good too. but yall talk about whatever needs to be talked about to each other then the committe memeber that makes either show can tell the 2k1 guys at teh show what is going on and when and everyhting about the next meet is. I hope u understand what im talking about. but steph i hope I will be back by then they are saying between mid july and the begin of aug. So i hope so. but let me know what yall tink about that idea. and whoever can make it to either show to the show closest to u or to the one one u can make. OR hell if u can make it to both then even better. Now im rambling.

Ace, we were having this mini-meet, at my area because thats where the meet is going to be. its not just to talk about it, itll be to show everyone the area itll be in and to gather ideas and information and things. your ideas ok, but it takes away from the meaning of me inviting the committee to this mini-meet.

No see then that will work out perfect i think then eternal Well im not trying to beak up ur thing if it seems like that then im sorry. I didnt mean for it to be like that. But when are u having the mini meet with the committe. Becaue if u have the mini meet with the committe soon then u can talk to them about the the shows coming up and see who can go to which show and then talk about what every info u need to then when the committe comes to whaever show they can go to then they can let us little people know whats going on and what info we need to know ok. BUt not trying to break up ur gig. and eternal i wasnt talking about ur meet witht he committe members I was jsut making a suggestion for the whole mid atlantic guys and girls that waht to meet up. Since not everyone can make it to the same dates as other people so this way the people that can make the shows can meet with the other 2k1 members that are going to the show. I know im very freaking confusing.
