well.. the problems were not really the turbo's it was the small coolant system and blown epex seals

I was going to say there wouldnt be a difference between twin turbo and single turbo for the motor. The motor itself doesnt know the difference. All it sees is how much air/fuel is coming in. So if you have twin turbo that hits 10psi or single turbo that hits 10psi it would be the same thing to the motor. The twin turbo's would just spool up faster.

Anyone hear a expected price on this vehicle? I think i read in my searchings for the info i posted at the beginning that the last year they sold the rx-7 was like 98 and that was in Aus. for like 70-80 grand??? is that correct? Does anyone have pics of the "newest" model rx-7 they sold(not here in the states).


Any other info please post it here! looks like i'll just be trying to get a little HP out of my 1.7L when what i really need is a big o'l 1.3L

The RX-8 will be starting at $25K USD. Not sure about the re-release tho. Heard nothing of the sort but from this thread - but i'm searching..
