Yes, at first the theory was sound, but after actually trying it, I do believe a few mags and/or shops have said it can't be done. I've heard of this at a shop here, as well as read similar stories.

there have been several cars already with k20's in them
the k24 is the same block, so, in theory, should fit the same. i have personally seen k24's for about 1500 but with auto trannies, i guess it's hard to find a manual cr-v or 03 accord.

Which one do you think would be better? The k24 or the K20A?

I don't know if the K24 block would fit. That's a larger engine... being a 2.4 liter and all. Not a 2.0 liter like the RSX engine.

Speaking of the K20 engines. Incase anyone is interested in a K20a, not a2, I found one for sale on the Gruppe-S website. It's selling for $5500.

Okay people the new k24 is a vtec block so why would you waste your money on the k20a2 head...it just doesn't make a lot of sense....but hey...if u guys wanna do up your motors from what other people are talking about then that in itself it bad news....just swap out the motor, or boost it guys!!
the VTEC on the k24 block i believe is the same economy 2 rocker VTEC in the K20A3- so you would need to do a frankenstein with the K20A or A2 head to get the true 3 rocker intake/exhaust VTEC.
