Hybrid Swap - F20C w/K20A2 head?
Maybe I'm talking out my a$$ here, but is it possible to port a K20A2 head onto a F20C engine? Or would it be better to just stick with the K20A2 engine?

K20A2 - RSX Type S
K20A3 - Civic Si, RSX
F20C is the S2000 Motor
why would you put a K20A2 head onto an F20C? What is the point? You cant use the F20C in anything but an S2k, and the F20C already flows well. Do you mean F20C head onto the K20A2? Ive seen discussions about that on other message boards.
A lot of people put B16 Heads on B18 Engines, I heard I was a lot better then B18, Although it does cause a lot. B18 cost what around 3-4 grand then you have to find a B16 head, I don't know where these guys get the money let me see if i can find pic i'll post.

i think youre missing a big point here..
B16 head on a B18.... they are all the b series...
now the F could not possibly fit on the k series engines, but u can put a k20 head on a k24....
just a new thought for a new project... excuse me while i **** myself....

yeah...I'm waiting to find a K24..hsould be alot cheaper than a K20...then buy a K20 Turbo bolt on kit in a year or 2......
well its been said b4, the f20 head gasket is the same part number for the k20's head gasket part number too, so i think u can have a hybrid f20 head with a k20 block, but i dunno about the ecu and stuff

IB looked into this (F20C head on K20A2 bottom end) when they were doing the K20A2 swap. I remember Jeff saying that it couldn't be done.
Okay people the new k24 is a vtec block so why would you waste your money on the k20a2 head...it just doesn't make a lot of sense....but hey...if u guys wanna do up your motors from what other people are talking about then that in itself it bad news....just swap out the motor, or boost it guys!!

Oversteer....no not even man...theoritically with the old CRV (non-vtec) it would be a good idea more torque with high end horse....but the stroke on the CRV is a lot longer too soo.....it wouldn't work out too well..

I'm quoting this out of the april/may 2002 issue of Honda Tuning (its the all in the family article, p.83)
"So whats the S2000 doing there? That is the true wildcard in all this. It seems as though despite the different engine code (F20C1) and north-south orientation, the S2000's engine block is a kissing cousin of the K series. In fact, according to engine developer Paulus Lee at Advanced Engine Breathing Systems in San Diego, the head gaskets are the same. This means the S2000's standard VTEC head could, in theory, be put on the K series block."
Now, since this, I havent heard anything about this topic. Its interesting though. I wonder if they found out any more info on this?
