a frieme vs. turbo supra
a friend of mine has an 87' toyota supra turbo, which is in extremely good shape for its age, rebuilt turbo, and new tranny not too long ago. I have a 98' honda prelude and we were driving around tonight and he asked me if i wanted to go to this deserted spot thats around here and race, i knew i was gonna get waxed but i figured why the hell not. So we drove to the deserted place and the distance was just a little over 1/4 mile. The first race i got a shitty *** launch while hes sittin next to me leavin 50 ft tire marks and chirping every gear, he won that won by about 3 car lengths. The second race i got a reallly good launch, like i never had before. I was at about 4000 rpms and just popped the clutch and white smoke started to come from the tires
and then my tires caught traction and i flew. I had the lead through first and we were neck and neck in second and then i had to shift into 3rd, i was shifting at 7200 rpms. Then when i shifted into third he pulled on me and won by about a car length and a half. When we shut it down we were going a little over 100. Even though i lost, it was a fun experience and even better knowing my lude kept up with a turbo supra.

my girl has a 84 supra... no turbo on it though. It's a sexy car, but it needs work.
Man I wanted a prelude so bad... but the used ones i saw were like 16 grand, and I bought my lx civic for 13 and it has two more doors than the lude. But I still want one
