Accord Coupe.....or cougar?...uggg

I saw an Accord coupe 4banger the other day....kinda drab to me...honestly, from a front angle, it resembled a cougar...like the doors and the nose....i was sad. If the v6 w/ aero kit doens't kick the looks up a notch, i'll start to consider wrx and mazda 6 instead.

Mazda 6. Not as roomy, but the most sporty and best handling out of the competition: Camry, Accord

It'd be about 2years before i look at somethin new...i just really anticipated the new accord, and was disappointed w/ the exterior of the coupe. I do believe the mazda 6 is for me, even w/ the turbo protoge in the picture. By that time, i'll rather have power, luxury, and the 6 looks more professional than the protoge.

Get the Pro5 instead of the Protege sedan. Looks sexier and has more room. Also you can stick one of several available turbo kits running 210-275 hp. Available from BPT, or BEGI.. and more in the works.

the interior is so sweet! i looked in one yesterday in a parking lot, the wheels are nice and big too! the front looked pretty nice, but the back was not too appealing! overall, i still like the new accord a lot!
still want to see a coupe though

I saw one today also...very unimpressive. Exterior and interior...just didn't do it for me. It was also alot smaller than I thought it would be...especially for a 4D. I didn't like the front at all...didn't notice the Cougar similarity, but I thought it just looked weird.

In addition, the Mazda 6 is the top selling 4 dr sedan over Camry and Accord or any in it's competition (price range). #1 Reason: Europeans favour better sporty handling cars. That's why in the US, they always degrade the handling of new cars compared to the same car in Europe.

Yes I was looking at a new Accord the other day. I wasn't very impressed with it either.

man I have been waiting a long time for mazda 6 to come out. I use to have 96 protege. Good cars

It's just too bad I cant afford one. I found a dirt cheap price on my civic and that's what I am sticking to.

I'd consider a WRX over an Accord Coupe ANY day. I don't know the exact specs of the Mazda6, but it's much cooler looking than the Accord IMO.

WRX and Mazda6, Camry, Accord are in a different class. We're talking about sub-econo, sub-luxury, sub- sports sedans here.

i believe they're gonna discontinue it, but i'm not sure.

i don't know about the rest of yall, but the new accord sedan and coupe are nice cars to me. i think they did a good job on the interior, and decent styling. the mazdaspeed protege kinda sucks to me, it puts out something like 170hp on a 2.0l turbo engine, which isn't anything to rave about, considering your alternatives like the 1.8t and even the WRX. also the $20k USD pricetag is a MAJOR turnoff, and puts it in close competition with the WRX, which i have personally seen at the dealer for $22k.

Yes the 170hp 2L turbo isn't anything to rave about, but the incredible handling the car comes with is what gives it it's value. Can a WRX keep up with the MPS on the twisites? I think not.
