ATTN: DX owners
I dont know if this has been posted before but if anyone is interested in getting some glow gauges for our cars then here's a plan. At SpeedHut.com we can get the bezel made for our cars but we need 15 to 20 people to do it. I havent found anyone that makes glow gauges for our model civic (without the tach).
Anyone interested? PM me and we can get the process started.

We're gonna need more than that though. Come on DX owners.

just a thought
I got myself a sedan dx automatic and also couldn't find gauges for this car....I also investigated gauges for dx models going back a few years too, and to my conclusion they never make gauges for dx models so I found a website called mahjestichonda.com and bought the ex automatic cluster for $270.00 plus shipping and handling. and paid a extra $30 bucks for the gauges from APC. now i got the gauges and the tach meter too.....it seems harder or even more expensive doing this way but it's better looking having four gauges lighting up at night then just two big ones ya know
just my opinion

I thought about making my gauges look like the LX and EX models with the tach but it seemed pretty difficult. I think at Speedhut you can have custom logos or designs put in the 2 blank areas in the bezel if you want. Eventually I want to install a tach but it will be sitting on the dash. Your way sounds real difficult. This way all the work can be done by Speedhut and install will be our problem.

OK, I got an email back from Speedhut and this is basically what I was told:
I have to find a gauge cluster (in good condition) from a junked civic and send it to them. Once they have it they will add the cluster to a group buy program. From there I will answer all the emails pertaining to our cluster and the group buy. Once they get 20 requests for that cluster they will start tooling it. The group will also get discounts like free text and graphics, free logos from Speedhut's standard logo page, and we can pick one other logo to add to our list of options. They can also add a Km/h version if 5 people want that. If 5 people dont want it then those people that want it will split $40 between them to have Km/h instead of MPH (Dont know what you'd want that anyway). The price is generally $119.95 plus $8 for shipping and handling per order.
They didnt say anything about reverse glow so I'll have to email them again about that.

Just switching out the cluster is probably simple but the tach still wont work. I dont know if the hookups for the tach are even in the DX model. It would be a pain in the a$$ to install the tach and the necessary wiring.
