How to take H emblem off front grille

Hey guys,

Got a new grillcraft grill on my ride which looks tight, but I want to fasten the H emblem on it off my old oem grille. Anyone know the best way to take the H off the oem grille without damaging it?

It looks like it's fastened on the back by two possibly glued washer type things, and on top of that looks like the H is bound with it's own glue onto the frame.

Would WD-40 or some kind of solvent help to remove it? Thanks

your gonna gently have to pull the stubs off the back of it, its really hard to do and mostly your gonna break the studs on the back, If you do you can go to the dealership and buy one for like 8 bucks... just my 2cents.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I'll probably hit up the dealer, I thought they were going to try to sell me the whole grill instead of just the one piece.
