so this is what i meant about my Injen CAI problem

Pictures here..... hmmm. i'm guessing this intake IS NOT for a 2k2 civic LX auto. The extension pipe cannot be bolted down anyway, or even connected to the short ram pipe. hmm...







hmmm... trust me i've tried everything and it's not working.

yes i did take off my bumper... hm. i really think this intake is for MT or something. heh

it should bolt on right there at the bottom, if not then call injen back and check with them for futher help.

I believe that there are two versions of the CAI from Injen, the auto and the manual. The auto have a spacer that's installed where a bunch of wires ground out right above where the pipe sticks out. I'm not sure about the auto but I think it might actually bolt up to the manual tranny. Hope this helped!
